Big Birthday in Vegas!!

I am so excited!! Dan has been asking me for the last month what I wanted to do for my birthday, its a big one in September. At first he was going to throw me a big party, but since I am sure after the big wedding season people are sick of partying with us, I finally decided the week before last week go somewhere instead.

So where to go...Napa, cruise, my favorite place New York City... Since this year will most likely be our last year to travel before we settle down and have a family and since its a big milestone birthday I wanted to go someplace that would be a really fun party...Las Vegas it is!!! I am so excited, I have never been or have ever gambled, but I love a good party, playing dress up and Dan loves to gamble and has been trying to teach me! :)

The very next day lucky us Ruelala had a huge sale for The Mirage, super cheap packages, plus free hotel credits with the purchase! Yay!! Its a done deal! We are going to Vegas!!

Now for my favorite part, figuring out what to pack and buy for the trip!! I figured I would pack light, only do a carry on, and a bunch of little dresses that can go from day to night.

Some dresses that I already have that might make the cut...

Got this Jessica Simpson dress just for the trip, thought worn with flats can be a sundress, or dress it up for a cocktail dress.

I have been looking for this French Connection dress in black, found a black a white polka dot one on Ebay so far...we will see...

Then to save room I figured I would just pack one flat and one wedge that could go with anything. (Might have to do something else if I get a black dress)

Gold Jack Rogers look alikes from Target would go with anything

Then I got these for the trip from Overstock.com, so many colors to go with, plus dancing and walking in wedges is so much easier than heels.

Then for the bathing suits since The Mirage and The Palms are both known for their great pools...

Finally get to use the Perry Ellis coverup and bathing suit I got from Ruelala a couple months ago

And the bathing suit I bought last year after seeing it on another blog, so vintage looking and figure flattering, had to copy the great idea!

Throw in jeans or white pants and a couple tops or tunics for the flights and I'm all set! I can't wait!! Vegas is known for great food, great parties, and great shopping, sounds perfect for Dan and I!
